In February 2025, The FA announced a progressive new framework for youth grassroots football in England, which is set to be introduced from the start of the 2026-27 season, entitled FutureFit.

As part of this new framework, a new entry level 3v3 format will be introduced for the youngest players in the pathway at U7s level, while 11v11 will move to being introduced at U14 level, compared to U13s level as is the case currently.

As part of the rollout of this new framework for youth grassroots football, Oxfordshire FA is delighted to be opening our doors to everyone across our grassroots football community to provide more information and to answer any questions you may have.

This FutureFit Roadshow will provide you with more detail on the changes, why they are being implemented, and the next steps in the process.
