Meet our Disability Football Ambassador
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our Disability Football Ambassador, Adam Robinson.
Adam will be responsible for driving 2- and 3-star England Accredited Clubs to apply the key learnings from the Disability Club Training to create their own Disability Football Game Plan; creating more club-based accessible opportunities for disabled people to play, coach and/or volunteer.
Adam joins us with extensive experience and knowledge of disability football in the county through his various roles in the county. Adam is Disability Lead for Bure Park FC where he started provision at the club in 2019 and has now got players from 5-16-year-olds participating weekly. He is also Secretary for the Berks, Oxfordshire & Bucks Inclusion (BOBi) League where he has played a pivotal role in its development over the past few seasons.
Michael Thurlow, Football Development Manager said “We are delighted to have Adam join the team and support us with driving forward the development and growth of the disability pathway in the county.”
