Eddie Celebrated for 50 Years of Service
Oxfordshire FA was delighted to present Eddie Todd with his thoroughly-deserved FA Long Service Award last month, to commemorate and acknowledge his contribution to football across Oxfordshire spanning five decades.
Eddie is the Witney & District Youth Football League secretary and welfare officer.
Alongside these roles, Eddie also supports both Oxfordshire FA and The FA with countywide and national discipline matters.
Eddie’s voluntary support for local football spans across 50 years, starting back in 1974 when he joined Eynsham Football Club, before going on to move to Cassington Football Club 13 years later.
Fast-forward to 2009, and Eddie became the Ducklington Under-6s team manager, before later taking on the task of serving as youth secretary and club welfare officer in 2014. Eddie still carries out these roles to this day.
Beyond Ducklington, Eddie has also served as youth secretary and club welfare officer at North Leigh Football Club; posts he worked in between 2019 and 2024.
All at Oxfordshire FA would like to congratulate Eddie on this remarkable milestone, and thanks him for everything he has done, and continues to do, for the game across our county.
