World Mental Health Day 2024
Thursday 10 October 2024 is World Mental Health Day, and Oxfordshire FA is proud to be supporting this important day of awareness.
Let’s all come together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters.
Talking about our mental health can help us cope better with life’s ups and downs. So, on World Mental Health Day and beyond it, why not check in with your friends, family, peers, or colleagues?
We’re fully committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our local communities, both physical and mental. That’s why we have teamed up with the Football Mental Health Alliance who provide access to ALL of our clubs, leagues, officials, players, and volunteers to The Vault.
The Vault is an incredible online resource, which is packed with useful information, resources and links to organisations, to support the mental health of everyone involved in the game.

In addition, in November, The FMHA will be hosting three online events, two of which follow on from demand from members of the grassroots football community nationally to educate on two key topics – neurodiversity and suicide.
You can now register for both events via the links below, which also include further information on both.
Understanding Neurodiversity in Grassroots Football – 20 November, 6pm-9pm
Brad Burton – Motivation and Mental Health – 24 November, 7pm-8pm - FREE
90 Minutes to Tackle the Male Suicide Crisis – 28 November, 6.30pm-8pm - FREE
In addition to The Football Mental Health Alliance, Oxfordshire FA is proud to work with Sport in Mind
