Oxfordshire FA is encouraging those working with young (18 and under) participants across grassroots football in the county to renew their FA Safeguarding Children qualification, if required, before 30 June 2021.

All working with young participants MUST have an in-date FA Safeguarding Children qualification, which needs to be renewed every 3 years.

Anybody requiring a renewal, that fails to do so before 30 June 2021, will thereafter be required to take the new online Safeguarding Children course, which is being launched by England Football on 30 June 2021 to replace the existing qualification. 

This course will cost £30 to take, which is why we’re encouraging those needing to renew their qualification to do so as soon as possible prior to 30 June.
