As we are approaching the end of this season's County Cup competitions, with the U16 Girls Cup being the final one taking place this weekend, let’s take a look a back to review this year's finals.

This season's competitions saw hundreds of teams, players, fans and spectators all turn out to watch the very best of grassroots football in Oxfordshire battle it out to be crowned champions in their respective competitions.

The competitions run throughout the whole season, culminating in six weeks of back-to-back cup finals.

Throughout March, April and May this year, 26 teams went head-to-head in 13 thrilling finals to eventually be crowned county champions, with one final still to be played.

Oxfordshire FA would like to sincerely thank all of the clubs, teams, managers, parents, players, grounds and supporters involved in making the competitions this year such successful and memorable events.

We would also like to congratulate each of the officials on their appointments in the competitions this year; to receive a cup final appointment is a great achievement and these appointments are based on an individual’s on-field performance during the season and their commitment to refereeing in general.

We look forward to next season’s and the continued success of our clubs in future County Cup competitions.
