After the successful launch of the Women’s Beginner’s Festivals last season, the popular monthly events are back for the 2018-2019 season.

Women over the age of 16 are invited to take part in small sided, 5-a-side, monthly recreational festivals at the Oxford Academy School, one Sunday a month. The festivals offer the chance to play games in a relaxed, friendly environment. 

The festivals are ideal for women who haven’t played for a number of years, are new to football altogether, or who want to play without the commitment of a full 11-a-side season. 

Who’s encouraged to join in?

• Teams or individuals – if you don’t have a team, we can help you find one, just get in touch!
• Women who don’t play regularly for a team but have always fancied giving it a go
• Mums who watch their children play and watch to try it out for themselves
• Women who used to play and want to get back into it

The festivals will run monthly throughout the season until April, after which the ever-popular Women’s Summer League will be available for teams to join and take part in over the summer months.

Where: 
3G pitch at The Oxford Academy School, Sandy Lane West, Oxford, OX4 6JZ

Dates: 
Sunday 21st October, 14:00-16:00
Sunday 18th November, 16:30-18:30
Sunday 16th December, 14:00-16:00

Season Entry Fee: 
One off £25 season fee per team (enables team to enter any festival throughout the season)

Player Fee: 
£3 per player, per festival

Format: 
5-a-side
