Oxfordshire Football Association is the governing body of football in Oxfordshire with 1,440 affiliated teams and an inclusive player pathway from grassroots community football through to the professional game.

13,000 children play for a team in Oxfordshire and we currently support 1,200 women aged 16 or over playing competitively for teams in Oxfordshire or in other recreational football programmes. 

However, there are 2,645 Ukrainian guests living in Oxfordshire and 36 refugee families; 100 unaccompanied asylum-seeker children and over 100, 18-20 year olds.

These groups have limited opportunities to be active or build social and support networks.

Our programme wants to change that.
