About the Cup
The U16 Girls' Cup is a knockout club cup competition open to all to affiliated youth teams at U16 as approved by Oxfordshire FA. To be eligible to participate players must have reached the age of 14 as of midnight on the 31 August of the current playing season.
History of the Cup
The U16 Girls' Cup was first contested in the 2009/10 season and won by Oxford City Ladies and Girls. City went on to win the competition a further three times and jointly hold the record for the most wins in the competition’s 14-year history with Kidlington Youth Girls.
The current holders of the trophy are Witney Vikings Youth Wasps who lifted the trophy for the first time in their history after a 9-0 victory over four time winners Kidlington Youth at Kidlington FC's Yarnton Road Stadium.
