Ron Smith Under-13 Youth Cup
About the Cup
The Ron Smith U13 Youth Cup is a knockout club cup competition open to all to affiliated youth teams at U13 as approved by Oxfordshire FA. To be eligible to participate players must have reached the age of 11 as of midnight on the 31 August of the current playing season.
History of the Cup
The Ron Smith U13 Youth Cup was first contested in the 2004/05 season and is named after the long-serving West Oxfordshire-based referee, who was a strong supporter of youth football in the area. The inaugural competition was won by Evenlode Rangers. Oxford City Blue are the current holders of the title winning the competition following a 2-1 final victory over Launton. This is the first time the Hoops have lifted the trophy.
