The Beating Heart of Oxfordshire Football – Our Four-Year Strategy
2024-28
Oxfordshire FA is pleased to share with you, our grassroots football community, our four-year strategy for the growth and development of sustainable, inclusive football over the next four years.
This year marks the 140th anniversary of the Oxfordshire FA. We have a rich heritage that we’re proud of; however, we’re committed to ensuring we’re a forward-thinking organisation, intent on working with our partners and grassroots football family to grow a game for all across the county.
Our new four-year strategy outlines our aims, ambitions and goals for growing local football to provide opportunities for everyone across our county, in addition to our plans to work with clubs, leagues and our partners to help establish sustainable football that adds to our already rich history.
Composed following consultation with our community through surveys targeted to specific participants within the game, a Q&A opportunity hosted by BBC Radio Oxford, and discussions with both our Inclusion Advisory Group and Youth Leadership Team, our four-year strategy has been formed with our grassroots workforce at its very core.
As a result, our new strategy will impact every single person involved in football across Oxfordshire, both those currently involved and new participants moving forward across the next four years.
Oxfordshire FA’s new four-year strategy takes overarching aims and ambitions from The FA and ensures they’re attributed to our local community, including actions as a result of consultation feedback, ensuring it’s a strategy tailored for Oxfordshire specifically.
OUR FOUR-YEAR PLAN IS STRUCTURED UNDER FOUR PILLARS: OPEN PLAY, FAIR PLAY, TEAM PLAY AND SAFE PLAY.
