FA Ticket Ballot
Thank you so much to everyone who entered the first-ever Oxfordshire FA ballot for a democratic opportunity to buy tickets to matches this month at Wembley Stadium.
This is part of our fresh approach in which access to such opportunities is now completely open, consistent and fair for everyone.
We had hundreds of entrants for the 10 pairs of FA Cup Final tickets, which the computer selected completely at random, and those whose names were drawn have now been notified.
If you have not already heard back from us then you have sadly been unsuccessful on this occasion, however we encourage you to enter our next ballot window for another chance of obtaining match tickets at Wembley Stadium.
For those unsuccessful in being allocated tickets on this occasion, please see the details below with regards to our process moving forward, which provides greater consistency.
As a member association of The FA, all County FAs are given the opportunity to request the purchase of tickets for senior men's and women's England Internationals as well as the Emirates FA Cup Final, Adobe Women's FA Cup Final and men's and women's Community Shield games at Wembley.
The Oxfordshire Football Association Board have agreed proposals to create a new Ticket Allocation Group to ensure there is a much clearer and more consistent approach to the process of applying to purchase tickets which will provide preferential opportunities on an equal basis from now on for our valued volunteers who do so much to support the growth of inclusive grassroots football.
The ballot is open to one entry per:
- OFA Affiliated England Football Accredited club
- OFA Affiliated England Football Accredited league
- OFA Affiliated Club Welfare Officer
- OFA Affiliated League Welfare Officer
- OFA Registered Match Official
Applications from clubs or leagues can only be accepted if received from people who are registered with that organisation in the role of either Chair, Secretary or Welfare Officer.
Please note that if successful tickets will be sent via email as a PDF and will need to be printed and taken to the game. For security purposes, if successful in the ballot, Wembley require us to obtain full names and addresses of the ticket recipients and ID may be required upon entry to the game. For these reasons tickets are not transferable once these details have been declared.
Ballot draws will be made a month before each fixture date. Entries received less than a month before a fixture will not be included in the ballot for that game.
All such opportunities are subject to availability. All ticket prices are fixed by The FA and cannot be discounted. They are typically £60 each for seats located in the lower tier at Wembley Stadium although that can vary according to each fixture.
We get charged the full ticket price by the FA and payment needs to be made by bank transfer to use in advance using that online payment process.
We have a small team of 9 people at the Oxfordshire FA looking after hundreds of clubs and tens of thousands of participants so please bear with us as this takes up a lot of our time and resources to administer for everyone.
We do hope that this helps though as part of our continued drive to ensure a fair and more transparent process.
To register to be included in the ballot please complete the short application form stating which fixtures you would like to be considered for below. Entries only need to be made once as eligible entrants will be entered into all ballots for the fixtures they have been requested. Entry alone is not a commitment to purchase tickets if successful as we will contact selected applicants and offer the opportunity to purchase.

We are also working hard on other ways to provide ways to show our appreciation for those who help ensure and share best practice throughout local community football, so please watch this space for more details over the next few months.
